The BAFTA TV Awards, otherwise known as the British Academy Television Awards, are an annual event honoring the greatest accomplishments in British televison. The 2022 events are held in London at the Royal Festival Hall, and are hosted by Virgin Media.
Notable awards given out are Best Drama Series, Best Leading Actress, and Best Scripted Comedy. Well known stars up for nomination include Kate Winslet for her role as Mare Sheehan in ‘Mare of Easttown,’ and Jessica Plummer for her role as Emma in the series ‘The Girl Before.’
